Staff was incredibly nice, the hotel is clean and quite cozy. Loved every minute of our stay.

We had an excellent stay at Select Hotel - Rive Gauche. As Americans traveling without a lot of familiarity with Paris, this location next to the Sorbonne felt very relaxed and safe. We were walking distance to the Latin Quarter, and I felt that anyone in our party could walk alone to and from the hotel throughout the evening without great concern. Breakfast was very nice in the hotel. There are lovely little outdoor cafes next door to the hotel if you want an evening “people watching” and still be close to the hotel to fall into bed. The rooms are quite small, like you find in NYC, which is to be expected. But it was fabulous to know we were coming back to our air conditioned hotel after a day of walking in the heat of July. I would definitely return to this little gem of a hotel!

Terrible strong perfume smell in the room. It was so hard to breathe since I have asthma. When I complained to the hotel, they told me that they were going to ask the cleaning people to stop spraying perfume on my room. Also they said I should have emailed them before my arrival to inform them about me having asthma. This is the first time I face this type of issue in a hotel. We couldn’t control the AC from our room and we had to complain twice at the reception to get the room temperature adjusted. The shower is connected to the bedroom with no door and no privacy at all. Very old hotel. More like 2 or 3 stars. Definitely not 4 stars and I would not stsy here again.

Loved my stay at Select Hotel. The staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room was very nice and quiet. The location is great for exploring the city!

The hotel was centrally located in the Latin quarter. It exceeded my expectations and the ease to the metro from the CDG airport was so nice.

Great location and close to everything. Hotel staff were great and helpful

Was very convenient, staff was very helpful. So easy to check in. Room was elegant, modern, and clean always. During hot times in the summer, the AC was more than enough.

We had such a great stay here, the hotel borders Sorbonne college which means the street is basically closed to traffic other than Deliveries or cab services... There are three great restaurants right on the street in front of the hotel to choose from for everything from pastry to pizza.. The room was clean, cozy and well laid out.. you are one street from the Patheon, a few blocks from Luxembourg gardens and 15 Minutes from Notre Dame... Thoroughly enjoyed and definitely will return
