TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. A horrendous experience trying to do anything about managing your reservation and zero follow through on service. I want to start this by saying that the facilities and onsite staff when present were lovely - the problem is the lack of registration desk and terrible online support that made this stay so irritating. I booked this place for my Dad visiting New York as I had some work going on in my apartment for the first two days of him landing and I wanted to make sure he was comfortable before I hosted him. He was put into a room with no working AC, I was met with very understanding hotel staff who ensured me he would either be moved to an upgraded room the following morning as compensation, or I would receive a 30% discount on my bill. Neither of those things happened, there was no follow through after this on either of those options, and after emailing support three days ago they are leaving me hanging. This model of no reception desk has clearly not been working for them and it’s a shame because the premises are genuinely very solid. The view on the roof is also exceptional, but this experience has ensured that I will not be booking another ‘receptionless’ hotel again.

There was bedbug all over the bed.

Location and price are ok, but when I arrived, the door code didn’t work and I had to call them and it took 30 minutes to get in the room. Also, I added one more night before I arrive and asked them to keep the same room and door code and they said they arranged, but they didn’t do it and it took 1 hour to fix it. There is no front desk and you always have to call to fix it. I wanted to extend 2 more nights but I decided to change the hotel and now I’m stress free.

Dont bother with coming here!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear there were serious issues. Our room contained another guest’s belongings, the main light wasn’t working, and the water from the taps, shower and toilet was brown. The most concerning incident occurred when another guest was given access to our room and walked in while we were getting changed. This was an extremely serious security failure that left us feeling frightened and unsafe. Rather than resolving the situation, the response from staff made matters worse. We experienced repeated late-night banging on our door demanding entry, our room number was shouted across reception for other guests to hear, and we felt intimidated instead of supported. Management was largely absent when these incidents occurred, and we were left without the reassurance or assistance you would expect following such a serious breach of guest safety. Reception was also unattended for an extended period when we needed assistance. A hotel should provide guests with a safe and secure place to stay. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking this property to think carefully before doing so.

Terrible shower water was brown left early never coming here again

This was the worst hotel ever. I am not going to waste time writing what many have written before. Do not come to check in into this hotel after the sun goes down. It will just turn into a big headache figuring out how to get into the building. After decades of staying in hotels in the world, I have never walked into a hotel where there was trash, used towels and more trash throw all over the room. The building itself is nice and has a lot of potential, but the way it’s being run is an absolute nightmare. It wasn’t even good enough to just lay your head down to rest for a few hours and leave which is what I needed for.

I URGE YOU TO READ THIS REVIEW!!!!! This is the worst place to stay, please do not book. The positive reviews you see here are all fake. Nobody responds when you need to check in, the TV doesn’t work. The toilet fills up with brown water as well as the shower spills brown water when you first turn it on. The room was not worth it at all, it doesn’t even seem like they get cleaned in between. Also, the lights on the front of the building flicker. This place is a huge mess. Also, at 12:42 AM supposedly the “manager” a tech guy with a laptop was banging on the door across the hall demanding to see their confirmation for booking. That is so unprofessional and just wrong. They could not have gotten a room without a booking. IT IS A STRUGGLE TO GET ACCESS TO CHECK IN! Just stay away from this place.

Well first off I didn’t even get able to access my room, yesterday afternoon I booked a king size bed room. around 3 hours later I get a notification saying that the room I booked is no longer available but a 2 bed room is open but I would need to spend an additional $168, I already had spent $270 on top of a $35 that u need to pay for to get an access code for your room. Last time I stayed I didn’t have to pay for the access code so I found it weird but I did it anyway after wasting so much money already I get told my room is no longer available and i would need to cancel or pay for the other room so I decided to cancel but trying to cancel here and on their end was the worst customer experience ever. Expedia said it was progressing so it couldn’t be cancelled yet, I ask Dutch hotels to do it on their end and they said they aren’t able to so I didn’t have choice and couldn’t do anything. I’m down $300 and didn’t even get to stay at the room I paid for

Save yourself headaches and choose another hotel! LIC itself is pleasant, easily walkable to the subway, convenience stores, food, etc. However, this hotel is run on a model that de-centers customer service and, though they say there is no front desk, there is --with limited staffing whose job it seems is to triage drama because of many disorganized handlings of the hotel. 1) I had to call the customer service line 4 times from my car, including after 4 p.m. check in, when the building and room codes are supposed to be readily available. I was given 4 different codes because they are faulty and do not work! 2) I was told the double bed room I booked was not available, then lied to when I was promised a king bed and arrived to a queen bed AND was upcharged for it! I persisted in complaining and the desk man finally gave me what I booked. 3) The most egregious thing happened -the desk man came banging on our door at nearly midnight insisting that we were overstaying a night because his records said we were there through the 17th. He demanded we show him our hotels.com reservation info, and then he took pics of it clearly showing that we had the room through the 18th. He didn't apologize. This is the most disorganized, unprofessional, rude, awfully run hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are not very clean, very dusty, & don't even think you'll get towels or cleaning. 4 nights of stressful hotel stay = unfortunate because of how badly run this place is. Don't stay here.
