I stayed here on a solo trip and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It’s not far from certain areas like Joan Miro park and Arenas de Barcelona. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.

A friend and I stayed at Hotel Villa Emilia in early July 2026. The hotel was excellent. The room was very clean. There was an elegant lounge on the first floor and a nice rooftop bar. The room was immaculate and kept cool in the July heat by an effective yet quiet air conditioner. We reserved a room with "two twin beds." When we arrived at the room, there were two twins but they were pushed together. We had to manually separate them but was not a big deal. The hotel was close to a metro stop and a short walk to the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and other sites. We were able to check in about two hours early. While the reception attendant said she would call us if the room was ready early, she did not, but we proactively checked in and learned of the early check-in that was possible. Overall great hotel and worth thie money.

The room and the bathroom were very clean. Bathroom had all the toiletries available. There is coffee machine available as well. Would prefer more lighting though in the room. There is a safe available. The breakfast isn’t so good for people who do not eat eggs and meat. The staff are very polite and helpful. The terrazza was excellent for drinks and also food. Pizza was exceptionally good. I took off a star due to the breakfast. Suggestion would be to cater for vegetarians and vegans.

Excellent, further away from the center of things but close to mass transit.

Great location, walkable, great staff all around, excellent breakfast, and air conditioning is beyond any we’ve stayed in for the last 10 years. Our second trip and we called this home during our Barcelona stay and plan to return.

Good stay

Great location. Easy to access to the Metro to get to around Barcelona. Many places walkable from Rocafort. Some restaurants and shops very close by. Staff friendly.

Very clean room, good AC, breakfast was incredible. They were very nice about holding our luggage before the room was ready, everyone was very friendly. Great place to stay! Plus the area around was perfect for getting to the metro, walking to lots of shops, etc.

very nice quaint hotel in a quiet neighborhood. On site restaurant is excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Bar is also very nice with a good wine selection. Room size was larger than expected, clean and well appointed. Would stay here again!
