My stay at the hotel was certainly not a five star experience. The AC was not working in the room that I originally was put in and after one night of complaining they moved me to a new suite. That suite was on the sixth floor and had a small portable air-conditioning unit that barely kept the room cold. The staff was not helpful in the move, they were not wanting to relocate me in the hotel and the overall vibe and experience of the staff is certainly not a five star establishment. Nobody went out of their way to assist, they didn’t offer any compensation, assistance with moving rooms or any fraction of five star service. There is no turndown service, and in my opinion this is not a five star hotel.

Tucked just off the Champs-Élysées, Monsieur George Hotel & Spa feels like a quiet, stylish escape in the middle of Paris. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, intimate atmosphere, nothing about it feels rushed or overly polished. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with rich textures and a balance of modern comfort and classic Parisian charm. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and every detail, down to the lighting, felt intentional.
What really stood out was the service, genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The spa is a hidden gem, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. And the location couldn’t be better: close to everything, yet just far enough removed to feel peaceful at night.
It’s the kind of place you look forward to returning to after a full day out, effortless, elegant, and quietly memorable.
