All the staff at this hotel are amazing - from the front desk, restaurant staff and the roof top bar. Special thanks to Trang who is the kindest and sweetest person imaginable. This is my third time staying at this hotel and it has consistently been exceptional. Great location, good restaurant and fantastic rooftop bar. Highly recommend.

I had a truly wonderful stay at JM Marvel Hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The location was perfect, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and I loved having a little balcony to relax on. The rooftop bar was a great bonus, but what really made my stay special was the staff — they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommend!

The staff was so kind and friendly as well as thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. The food was really great. We will come back.

Staff were very helpful & tentitive

Housekeeping staff was alert n considerate. Our rm was spick n span. The housekeeping staff tidied the rm such that it accommodated our personal items that were left out. Location is good in old quaters. Walkable to many attractions close by.

The concierge was incredibly helpful for planning and booking activities.

Nice hotel at a very good location. Buffet breakfast was good and very not crowded. Had dinner at the hotel resturant and it was delicious. Best thing about the hotel is the staff, very helpful and polite. Special thanks to Trang Nguyen for helping us and arranging a private car to Nihn Binh.

Outstanding from start to finish - everything about the hotel was faultless and such value for money. Its boutique nature gives way more attention than a huge expensive Intercontinental Hotel or similar could give. Surprised me just how great a smaller hotel is - when I return, I will book again. The restaurant and rooftop bar are fantastic BTW in fact, the restaurant food was better than the one Michelin star Tam Vi in Hanoi!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. As an Expedia Gold member perk, I was to receive three free drinks (for the 3 adults in my group). Staff told me it was only supposed to be ONE drink for our group but then I shared a screen shot from Expedia showing the perk and they conceded. When we went to get the drinks, we were told only sodas qualified, not even plain juices (we don’t drink alcohol). This was one of the pricier hotels we have stayed at in Hanoi so I expected better. The whole drink experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not plan to come back to this hotel.
