The location was great Install translate before you go Ask for a bus timetable and the free tickets you get as part of your stay Uber does not work out near Nasu, no uber eats or car rides Install go taxi, it's there uber equivalent Food is scarce around the hotel so plan ahead and get food from the local shops, family marts are great, 7elevens are ok to If you eat at the buffet restaurant at the hotel you need to book it as part of the hotel booking. We did not and it cost me $214 (aud) for 2 adults and 1 child, we didn't know this ahead of time. The hot springs / baths are a no cloths zone, kids 6 and older and men and woman are just all in the same water together naked, nothing against there culture it just wasn't for me. There are claw machines absolutely everywhere in Japan so if your taking kids be sure to always have some coins on you, they range for 100¥ to 500¥ Nasu highlands park was amazing Nasu safari park was good, very small but pretty cool getting up so close with so many animals.

Great service, clean and friendly staff

Area was quite remote and you need a car to get around Nasu as there is nothing in walking distance, however snacks and drinks were complimentary each day at set hours, mineral outdoor onsen/spar was perfect and staff were amazing. Airconditioning was disappointing as it was preset with the main hotel and could not change temperature only adjust fan. Views were amazing from the restaurant and breakfast bar. Many young children when we stayed as the hotel focuses on kids with indoor and outdoor playground. Overall very nice hotel with amazing staff and great place to base yourself and explore Nasu with a car.

We have an amazing time! From the check in to the arrival celebration. The rooms were amazing and so large! The onsen was very family friendly. Play spaces indoor and out were outstanding. Breakfast left us speechless. Our only regret is not getting dinner. Such an amazing experience

Excellent Serene child friendly

Large spacious rooms, friendly and helpful service, clean and relaxing onsen. Best bonus is free flow drinks (soft drinks, coffee and lots of alcohol) and snacks in the afternoons and nights!

This is probably the most family-friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Many young couples with babies; tons of kids up to about 7 years old. They have lots of toys, books (in Japanese), and even special suites for those ages.
