Great location for a hotel in the heart of NYC. Housekeeping, valet, and bell captain are really good and helpful. However the management has no control over the property. They are overbooked, can’t solve problems in a timely manner, and make promises they can’t keep. We arrived at 6pm, got our room, which was the last available, at 7pm, but there were no beds for our kids to sleep (we booked a room for 4 people). It took until 10:30pm to bring one rollaway bed and improvise another one on a broken sofa. Definitely not a 4 start rating or service, two stars at best.

Wish the room was a little more spacious and had a fridge the lady who was doing housekeeping on my floor was very helpful didn't get a chance to do the restaurant or bar maybe next time

Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff came daily to clean and restock towels without us having to request it. It's in walking distance to lots of restaurants and activities, as well as a subway stop if you want to venture out further. We didn't use any of the included amenities, but our room came with a daily $35 restaurant voucher, bottle of water for each guest, and city bikes rentals. We were two women traveling alone and we felt safe walking in the surrounding area at night.

Convenient; clean; hospitable!

We were told that there's a daily $35 credit for the bar, but we were charged a daily $35 Destination fee so what was the point of that. The room was clean but it also smelled like mildew. The location is very convenient which was great.

We did not get breakfast

The overall stay was below average at best. While I’m not sure how this compares to other hotels in New York, I was ultimately disappointed with my experience. My first room had a broken air conditioner, and the temperature reached 88 degrees. As I went downstairs to request a room change, I encountered two other guests who were also experiencing maintenance issues, including a broken TV and another malfunctioning AC unit. My second room had working air conditioning, but the shower leaked badly, causing water to pool on the bathroom floor every time it was used. I rarely leave reviews unless a stay is either exceptional or falls well below expectations, and unfortunately, this experience was the latter.

The wifi was good, but there was no streaming services on the tv. Rooms a/c wasn't that great. No fridge nor microwave- so I wouldn't recommend if traveling with a toddler. Housekeeping was great, and as helpful as possible. Other than that- rooms were not as pictured when booking. Location was great, so everything was walking distance, just personally would not stay here again.
