The hotel did not meet our expectations. It looked much more impressive in the photos than it does in reality. The location is very remote, far from the bus stop, with nothing to do except the golf course and tennis courts. There are no activities or facilities for children. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast and dinner buffet—they were far too expensive and not affordable for us. Because of this, we moved to another hotel with an excellent breakfast and dinner buffets at about one-third of the cost. The room furniture is outdated, and the hotel feels worn. The curtains should be longer, as the morning light comes through too early. They need to install some hook or a towel bar next to the sink so towels can dry properly instead of staying damp on the sink .

Our room was just massive, so huge, with a gorgeous view overlooking a golf course. This is an excellent spot if you want to golf and relax. It is a bit isolated, and it is a bit dated and could likely use a bit of a refresh, but the large room and view was worth it. There is also an onsite onsen (Japanese bath).

What an amazing hotel. The highlight is the onsen, absolutely incredible. They have 2 onsen rooms, male and female. Both rooms have 2 onsens, indoors and outdoors, as well as a sauna. Changing rooms are clean with hair dryers, towels, lockers and other amenities. Staff were very kind, allowed us to borrow umbrellas when it was raining, they have a giftshop inside too. 10/10

Big room, but small bathroom. Stairs inside the room !!! Clean, free parking, cooperative staff.

This was recommended to us by our tour guides in Japan and it is a fantastic hotel. The food in the restaurant caters to every background and everything we tried was delicious. The hotel is older but has heritage and a great vibe because of it, and is very clean. The service was excellent as well. I went for a run one morning in the surrounding area and it is very quiet and enjoyable for a morning run or walk. Highly recommended in a very quiet "town" of Hakone.

It was in the mountains and the surrounding environment was beautiful. However, there was little options for food and it was quite far from other food options. The onsen was the highlight! The room had a musty smell in it but the view from our room was incredible.

Amazingly serene and peaceful location. Beautiful mountains around the ancient caldera adds to the uniqueness of the Hotel. Golf driving range as well as a full course is attached to the property.

Very secluded. No transportation near by. Great for a golf trip
