Great hotel to base yourself at for exploring Beijing

All round was excellent. Language is a problem though.

The Conrad Beijing was amazing! Summer and the rest of the staff were very friendly, warm, and accommodating for our family. We enjoyed a great meal and drinks in the main restaurant one of the nights and had great service and excellent food! Great location and very comfortable for our stay in Beijing!

This hotel presents itself in a professional manner, but the actual service quality does not match the expectations set. The front desk staff are polite on the surface, often smiling, but there is a noticeable lack of initiative or genuine willingness to assist guests. Interactions feel mechanical rather than service-oriented. Another major inconvenience is the handling of food delivery. Unlike the common practice in many hotels in China, where deliveries can be brought to guest rooms or at least delivered indoors, this hotel requires all deliveries to be collected from an outdoor locker area. Guests must retrieve them independently, with no staff support provided, which is particularly inconvenient in adverse weather or late hours. Overall, while the hotel is not entirely without service, the level of hospitality is minimal. Most basic service expectations are not fully met, which significantly affects the overall stay experience.

Hotel was very nice and the service spectacular. Natalia from the front desk was especially helpful and inviting. I would def recommend

Great location, beautiful room, helpful staff.

It’s a beautiful and well managed hotel for sure. Great view rooms and club for afternoon tea and happy hour. Staff are amazing. Highly recommended

There was no issues when I stay here in 2025. This year, 2026, I stay here again and I will never come back. The room feels so old; the furniture is not well maintained at all. The room is a none-smoking room but it smells smoky. Very bad experience. Both the front desk and the breakfast staff do not have the basic hospitality. They all looks like angry for no reason.

Great stay with family, breakfast great. Excellent cleaning service.

Pros: -Superb breakfast! Keep it up Conrad Beijing team. Lots of food options, great food quality. Cons: -We booked two rooms. They both felt worn out and a bit outdated. We asked for a non smoking room and our level-12 room smelled unpleasantly, heavy cigar smell. -We booked the hotel because of the view, but the view from our room was frankly terrible. -Reception desk staff english proficiency is severely limited. Communication can be a big big challenge for non-mandarin speakers.
