Overall the place could be so much nicer with some simple care and maintenance. We had to shift rooms twice because of AC units not working, toilets broken. We stayed a full week and didn't get a chance of sheets once, albeit with a daily service. The pool was great but we felt like about to get hit on the head as all the coconuts were about to drop from the trees. The tuktuk to the beach is great. All up a nice enough stay, but could be so much better with a little care.

Stanza vecchia con mobili usati e deteriorati pulizia carente

Very old hotel- but charming garden with nice pool. A lot of problems with old and outdated rooms and facilities. First room with AC like a plain, lock which didn't work and safe falling down. Second room better, but low standard . Nice staff but management?! Never accept room before you see photos of what you are offered.

Renligheten i dusch/ badrum borde vara bättre. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. WIFI funkade bra. ACn funkade jättebra.

After a small issue with our first room (broken air conditioning) we were moved to another room, excellent staff and were able to assist with anything. Rooms were clean. Location was ideal, away from the busy roads and about 15-20 min walk to beaches.

Great

Endroit en retrait de la foule, avec piscine au calme très appréciable !

Very clean room and property. Beautiful pool. Amazing staff! Everyone was soooo nice. I met a couple that have been going to this hotel every year since it opened 35 years ago. I stayed for two nights but wish that I could stay forever. It’s a little bit far from the beach but a nice walk nonetheless. I hardly explored Kata because I enjoyed the hotel so much that I just wanted to stay there. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Garden Home Kata was perfect for a 10day family get together. Family run, older Thai style but clean with a beautiful pool and garden surrounds. Staff were friendly. If you are looking for a smaller ( non glass/chrome OTT) resort with Thai character Garden Home Kata is a good choice. Close walking distance to everything (the roads are a bit hectic but you get used to manoeuvring).

clean, comfortable, outside pool is good. Distance from beach was a bit problem since whole island has no pedestrian walkways.
