Excellent hotel and stay in Hanoi. Our first time in Hanoi and although the hotel isn't city centre, Grab cabs are inexpensive to get around. We booked a Club room and was personally greeted and checked in to our room. We were offered welcome drinks and a pillow menu although were happy with the current pillows. Surprise fruit and cake awaited us in our room. The Club room was nice and comfortable, a little on the old side now but still great and met our needs for the week we stayed. The maids did not speak any English but any requests were through the Club lounge staff. We had breakfast daily and ate at the lounge in the evening and quality was excellent. The hotel grounds are beautiful especially with the pool and gardens alight at night. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance to the hotel. I think the main highlight over and above the facilities of the hotel are the staff, everyone is so polite and courteous. 今年に入ってから毎月5〜7日間くらい宿泊させて頂いてますが、平日の昼間2〜3回となりの部屋なのか分かりませんが工事の音がうるさくWEB会議時に支障がありました。

My 20th+ time stay—outstanding personal service that keeps me coming back! I have stayed at the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel more than twenty times now, and each visit only gets better. For last many trips, I stayed in a Club Room, and once again, the experience was absolutely flawless. What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible team. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, warm, and deeply caring. The service here is highly personal—I love that the staff acknowledges me by name, which makes every interaction feel incredibly special and memorable. Even the small details are handled with immense care. For instance, whenever I walk through the lobby, the staff always makes sure to personally call and open the lift for me. That same exceptional hospitality extends upstairs to the Club Lounge. The lounge team took such wonderful care of me, anticipating my needs with genuine warmth and helpfulness. If you want top-tier service, fantastic amenities, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, I cannot recommend the Daewoo enough.

Hotel interior is pretty old, some furnitures are not functioning well. cabinet door under the tv keep falling. Small toilet. I remeber the bin was unclear in the 2nd day when I came back.

It was the first five-star hotel in Hanoi and remains an iconic landmark of the city. While the property shows its age after more than 30 years, it still retains the grandeur and elegance of a luxury hotel from its golden era. Considering the price, it offers excellent value, with spacious rooms, beautiful grounds, and a sense of history that newer hotels simply cannot replicate.

Most of the time, when I am in Hanoi for business, I usaully stay at Daewoo but lately the staff and the services are very disappointed! Not so friendly, and lack of clear communication. There are many hotels in the areas that is cheaper and offer a better service.

아주 깨끗하게 관리되고 있어요. 위치도 번잡한 호안끼엠, 한인타운 중간지점이라 좋고 롯데마트 바로길건너라 쇼핑하기도 좋아요.

First time staying in this Hotel. Everything is fine. It is a bit dated compare to some major hotel. In terms of prices, this is on the high side compare to other hotel. But, it is good enough for me.
