It was repairing the entrance but nice room and good service

Hotel was is the middle of a major remodel, which was not communicated to us before arrival or we would have booked elsewhere. They did discount our booking by 10% for the inconvenience, which was a nice gesture. First room was dirty and poorly maintained. The staff were very helpful when we raised these concerns, and they upgraded our room after the first night. The new room was much better, but we were really put off by the first night and the ongoing construction.

The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms are bright and clean and have air con. When we stayed there in July 2026 the ground floor was still being renovated so we had to have breakfast outside. That wasn’t a big problem as there are lots of nice cafes nearby. The staff were very helpful and explained very clearly that we would get a small refund because of the work going on.

Amazing hotel! Great location and helpful, sweet staff. We had the best sleep here - the beds are amazing. Perfect all around. We will be back when coming back to Paris

It was a wow experience

The room was nice but had repeated maintenance issues and was quite small. We were not informed about the heavy construction/renovations underway at the hotel until just before we arrived. Was offered champagne and a 10% discount which I am not sure I received. Had I known of the condition of the hotel and common areas I would have booked elsewhere, but we were stuck with cancellation fees. There should have been full disclosure.

Minor renovations, taking place however it did not take away from how wonderful this hotel was. Location is fantastic. Hotel staff very helpful.

The staff is worth mentioning, extremely kind and helpful. The location is central and rooms are small but well equipped. The only issues we had are that the hotel lobby is undergoing a full renovations and feels like walking into a construction site. If you plan on late sleep or mid day nap it will be interrupted. Additionally, rooms on the first floor feel the metro vibrations constantly and until around midnight.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and were satisfied with most aspects of the hotel. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, there were a few disappointing points. We noticed very small insects in the bathroom, which was unpleasant. The bed was also extremely low, and the mattress was worn out and sagging, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. We stayed in a Junior Suite, so we were surprised that complimentary bottled water and minibar items were not included. In addition, the hotel’s restaurant was not operating during our stay. Although we were given vouchers for a nearby restaurant, we found both the restaurant and the menu to be quite disappointing. Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the overall service and atmosphere. With a few improvements, this hotel could offer an even better guest experience.
