We were disappointed with the checkin. We were there for six nights and they wouldn’t consider let us check in early without paying a big chunk. I’ve never had a hotel charge guests to store luggage while waiting for room to be ready. Part of the package was “tour for 4 every day.” Not quite!!! Honestly I couldn’t figure out why this hotel was labeled VIP for Expedia gold members. I’ve definitely had better service & experience. The social hour was fun but unfortunately only 3 days a week. The hotel is huge so the staff can’t really be personable with the guests. The location is excellent! Literally a couple minutes away from Times Square.

Beautiful room

I loved the security always present and required you to show key cards to navigate through the hotel. There are tons of food options right outside your door and you are a block away from time square, subway etc.

Canadian traveller here! Love Hotel Edison! Came to celebrate with friends and really enjoyed our stay. Incredibly safe and convenient location, especially if you’re a theatre goer. Lots of good food spots & bars in the Times Square area. The room was clean and the property is well taken care of. Check-in was a long lineup, but staff are incredibly helpful. The staff left a gift for our friend which was very kind. They let us store luggage there after check out which was also appreciated. Very happy with our stay. I’m coming back to NYC with my husband this fall and chose to stay at Hotel Edison again!

It was an ok stay. location is good, close to everything but the property was not too desirable. The rooms were nothing to speak about. I have stayed in NY many times as I travel for work and this is not a place I would stay again. I hated the fact that i could not open the window to have good airflow into the room.

The staff is great! location awesome! clean rooms, comfortable beds. I would recommend staying here!

Centrally located to Broadway theaters. Location is the best part of the hotel if you are in NYC to see a Broadway performance. Rooms are really small. It was a bit uncomfortable. Smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in over 30+ years traveling.

I was slightly disappointed when I walked in the room. The view was absolutely one of the worst ones ever, but I didn’t pay for view upgrade either. Nice, comfortable bed, fridge, and Microwave for all you hundred dollar leftovers. Coffee maker, great breakfast options included. Expedia perk provided a bottle of wine delivered to the room. Another huge plus, they let us check in a couple hours early. Times Square right there! It is a bigger hotel, somewhat difficult to access front desk person. I did appreciate elevator security. 7/10
