Rooms need updating, only 2 out of 4 elevator working. Rooms below 18th floor are sub par

Place wasn't as expected. Our room had issues, only 2 elevators worked. Had to wait a while for it and was too crowded when it stopped on our floor.

Purchased a room on Expedia, but when I get there I find out that the entire hotel is booked. It's been almost a month and I haven't received a refund.

Photos of the venue are completely false and misleading. The hotel is under renovation and our experience was awful from beginning to end. Rude, unaccommodating and unprofessional front desk staff, including the manager. We paid for premium rooms but were downgraded to regular rooms with no refund accommodations. Elevators, hallways and rooms were like a scene from the public housing section of the Cecil Hotel. Everything in the room looked original from when the hotel was first built. AC in room wasn't working so we called maintenance. It took a while for him to arrive, but he was fast, efficient and so apologetic for the condition of the hotel ... He was the only positive experience I had with this hotel.

lift is very busy , long wait. rooms are old ac is not right. location is very good amnetiies are old no laundry

Perfect I love nyc

Not a solid choice with renovations in progress. Our room was very outdated and nothing like the photos. But it served its purpose and was in an ideal location.

Staff was perfect and accommodating—it was a lovely location for time square

The hotel room was very old, we had 1 broken bed. The faucet had different handles and the water spilled from one of them. The carpet was very dirty. The bathtub felt bubbly like a water bed. The hotel is very old and outdated. The lobby is new and nice. The only good thing were the pillows.

good location
