Great location. Kind staff. Would visit again!

They add a daily “destination fee” on top of the room price. I did not see this when I booked it. We had to take the stairs down 5 flights every time we left before noon as the few elevators that have were always full. It’s a lot to pay to have to take the stairs. Maybe they should use that destination fee to get some more elevators. Check in took 30 minutes.

Great New York City hotel. Close to everything. Walk to Central Park. All the staff are friendly, and extremely helpful. When I return this is where I will stay.

Room wasn’t ready at 11:30 pm. Got upgraded to a corner premier room. The parking garage around the corner was the absolute WORST! The guy literally screamed at my family about the price discrepancy. Apparently the hotel is supposed to apply the discount on the parking ticket. So I had to walk back to the hotel and ask for the discount. Super annoying. When I initially called and asked for pricing on parking I was told $42. Well, it’s variable up to $62 depending on size of vehicle. Wall paper was falling off. Light switches were falling off the wall in bathroom.

There was no fridge, coffee maker or microwave. There was a coffee shop inside the lobby and a Starbucks right next door.

The staff was great. The rooms were very nice. The food was good. We had a nice stay.

The location is good, unfortunately the hotel was lacking in several areas. The bathroom smelled like mildew because of the shower curtain, it was difficult to get the toilet to fully flush, our deadbolt was broken and didn’t work and the room was small and not very efficient. We stayed on the 12th floor and the street noise and honking was still very loud at night. We would look to stay elsewhere in the future.

24-hour stay. The location is excellent. Our first impression with reception and guest relations was a little disappointing, they were not very attentive and could be more helpful. The cleaning staff were actually the most kind and helpful. The rooms feel a bit outdated and the AC was set to a high temperature, probably to save electricity. When we mentioned it, a technician came and adjusted something inside the AC and it started to cool a little better. There was even a fan in the room for extra cooling. For the price we paid, we expected a more.

Good things: The guys working the desk to store and retrieve luggage were amazing and put up with alot of ungrateful people. Housekeeping staff was AMAZING. Beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great during the heatwave. Love the blackout shade option that was provided. Front door staff was great; greeted everyone and helped with bags. Opportunities: Elevators are a disaster. Always full and VERY slow. Need to upgrade to handle all the traffic or direct people to enter the other side of the hotel and use those elevators when staying above floor 13. Ice machines on half the floors did not work. Our bathroom was falling apart in our room (tub, sink, mirror, wallpaper all broke, peeling or missing) Coffee shop and front desk workers need to act like they want to be at work. Prices for drinks in the bar were ridiculous ($24 for a shot of liquor in sode is madness) and the bartenders were slow and looked like they would rather be somewhere else.
