I loved our hotel room and the location. The room was clean, large enough and updated, the bed and pillows were comfortable, AC worked great, and we always had plenty of hot water with no issues with the shower overflowing, which I had seen mentioned in other reviews for different hotels. Trinity Church was so close that we were able to attend a Sunday service, which I highly recommend. It was such a cool experience! It absolutely down poured one day, but luckily we were close enough to Whole Foods to quickly grab some umbrellas. Not knowing they sold them at the hotel (oops) The nearby subway stations were also very convenient, and there is a cute breakfast place right next to the hotel. My husband was hoping for a larger, more grand hotel, but I thought it was great considering we mostly used the room to sleep and were out exploring all day. The lobby is small and intimate, which some people may really enjoy, and they also have convenient snacks and drinks available. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was hard to beat! Side note- husband liked the bathroom so much, he is remodeling ours to look like it.

This was an ideal place to stay when visiting NYC! It was just Steps away from the Rector Street subway station, so navigating was super easy! In addition, it was just a block away from a Starbucks and a Whole Foods market that had a fresh, clean and cheap buffet. We had a little fridge in our room so we could get some produce to keep handy for snacks. We would definitely stay here again when we come back!

Place was fantastic and in a wonderful spot. Parking could be easier but it’s New York, that’s always something. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Walking distance to pretty much all the Downtown spots, and there's an MTA station right across the street with where the R/W trains run. They have service to pretty much all the other spots... WTC, Empire State Building, Times Square, Central Park... you can even take it all the way to Queens to have a shorter Uber/Cab ride to LaGuardia. The rooms were nice. A bit of city noise, but you're in NYC, so that shouldn't be a deal breaker. There are some decent coffee/ deli spots on the block. It's also right across the street from Trinity church... where Alexander Hamilton is buried... so we considered that a bonus!

Stayed here for business and pleasure. Great location to R/W train, WTC, and Battery Park. This time of yeah lower Manhattan had lower foot traffic then midtown, but using it as a base to grab a train to Time Square/Central Park was easy. Rooms were spacious, hotel restaurant had great food and easy for a quick meal before heading out. Corner room with view of Trinity Church was also a pleasant experience.

I never write reviews on Expedia but this hotel deserves one. Such a great place to stay! Super clean and updated, comfortable bed, great proximity to convenient subway stations, a closet with ample hangers. It’s really got everything you need! The fitness was huge for an NYC hotel! I have nothing but good things to say about my four night stay.

Rooms were neat and clean

Great stay! Loved accessibility to the subway. Easy to navigate uptown and downtown and drops you right at the front door of the hotel. Perfect for late night transit. Area is walkable and feels very safe (we were two female travelers). Printemps department store is a block away and a must see! Hotel bar is a good deal - loved the espresso martini. Only thing missing was wine glasses or any glasses in the rooms so bring your own if that’s a thing for you. You also can’t take bar glasses to your room. Other than that, I highly recommend this location. Will definitely return.
