Please read this! I never write reviews, but my stay was bad enough for me to write one here and on Google. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in years. Good stuff: The staff at the front desk were incredible. Bad stuff: There was a DJ/club situation happening in the bar downstairs until 3:30am. I’m a laid back person and normally music or noise doesn’t bother me too much. The bass from the DJ was vibrating my bed. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. After a bit of digging, I found TONS of reviews on Google saying the same things. They’re buried between generic positive reviews which I think are fake. In addition to the noise, my first room smelled like cigarettes, and the second one smelled less like cigarettes, but still cigarettes. Two towels in my room had stains on them. I promise I’m not typically a Karen. I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in lots of different places. My only requirements are 1) mostly clean and 2) quiet enough for me to sleep. This was neither. I hope this can be a warning to others and that this review doesn’t get taken down.

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Manager is very accommodating, helped us with an early check in so we wouldn’t have to wait after a long journey.

The space is good, I would include in the rooms drawers or storage spaces to be able to unpack properly.

Excellent location 5 mins from the subway. Clean rooms good AC, and everything was good for my stay.

Rahul and his team were so accommodating and welcoming, and the hotel is close to all kinds of fun things to get into. I truly loved staying here!

We’ve stayed before and enjoyed our stay. Plus it’s close to my son’s apartment. Easy access to the subway. Enjoyed our stay.

The staff's friendliness and attentiveness is what made the stay at 1080 great. Room was clean and comfortable- not a place for frills, but we will be back.

The air conditioning vent had mould in the vents. There was stains all over the blind. There were hairs all over the bathroom floor. On our first night at 2am someone was screaming “help me” into the vents and the amount of loud music and people between the hours of 2-5am was insane! The stomping from the floors above kept us up all night. The tv from the room upstairs was going into our room from the vent. It was so loud. On Saturday night they had a party in the bar which didn’t finish until 4am and again thats all we could hear in our room. The icing on the cake was my contraceptive pill being taking from my bed while I was out. Even though there was a do not disturb sign on the door. So I was left with no tablets for the rest of my stay! So basically lock everything in your suitcase if you are staying at this hotel because they also have no safes to keep anything safe

Arrived at midnight and were notified that we don't have a room and hotel overbooked. And this is with two months ahead of a time reservation and the same day phone call to confirm. Was redirected to sister hotel 4 blocks up the very sketchy street, and didn't ofer transportation. We had to walk at 12:30 through Loud night clubs, drunks and stoners. Second hotel was nice, but also didn't offer anything for trouble. Extremely disappointed. Wouldn't recommend that chain.

The hotel was super close to various subways, and buses which made getting around very convenient. Ruhul and his staff were very friendly, and helpful. There was an issue with the sink being clogged, and they fixed the situation in a timely manner. We were on the 6th floor, and didn’t have an issue with the music at all from downstairs, and slept perfectly. The area itself feels very safe, but you’re in New York, so there’s going to be homeless/characters around, but no worse than anywhere else in the city. I would definitely stay again, and recommend this hotel.
