Staff wa friendly at checkout Water leaked all over bathroom foor everytime we showered Mini fridge didnt work with I mentioned on my forst night and never had a response or remedy. Blinds did not close all the way the noise was nothing to the early morning sunlight. But not bad for what was paid. Would stay again, if I needed to

Very nice stay and facility and close to subway

The Hotel Indigo sits in a neighborhood with plenty of dining options, bars and coffee shops. Is right on the L subway line with easy access to Manhattan, and without all the noise and crowds. Its a great setting to wander in and discover neighborhood gems. The staff at Indigo is very helpful and responsive. The room is fine, bed is lower than most and the bathroom was nice. The only downside is there is no free breakfast, which I generally expect at most hotels.

most of the people who work at this hotel were incredibly rude. There was one guy at the front desk with long hair, who was the highlight of the trip. He was kind and accommodating along with a black guy working at the pool bar upstairs. All of the rest of the staff was either rude & the service was slow or nonexistent. I had to call and ask for towels multiple times during our stay and we finally got towels on the third try after having to speak to a manager. Also, the hotel pool prioritizes people purchase on resort pass over the people who stay at the hotel. For example, me and two friends were forced to share one pool chair after being asked to move because resort pass customers were there to lounge by the pool. it was pretty distasteful. I would never stay at this hotel ever again.

The garage on site was safe, convenient and reasonable.

Clean, roomy, good location

The good points: The room ventilation was reasonably quiet. Linens and pillows were "quality" although bed was a bit too soft. The room felt clean. The outdoor pool and bar were very nice to hang out in but unfortunately short staffed. That is everywhere now. Parking very convenient. I would stay there again. The problems: The room refrigerator made a lot of noise. It was also empty as we were not provided with any complementary water bottles. The smooth tile floor in the shower was slippery and I was very concerned about my 90 year old mother taking her shower. There were no grab bars in the shower except the handle of the very large glass shower door which was vertical. For safety, even in non-handicap rooms, you should have a horizontal grab bar. Our towels were not refreshed by housekeeping and I had to call for them when we back from our excursion in the evening. I would be VERY happy to use my towels for more than one time, but you have to provide a way of hanging them so that they will dry by the next morning. Our bathroom, had plenty of space to put up hooks. I liked the lobby bar and the bartender was very pleasant and professional but a $30 vodka martini? I usually like to leave a tip for housekeeping every morning. Hotels used to provide stationary and a pen so I could specify why that money was being left out. You could at least leave an envelop so that the staff knows it is safe to take that money.
